North Dakota Fighting Sioux basketball

The North Dakota Fighting Sioux basketball teams (men's and women's) are parth of the athletic program at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. They are members of the NCAA Division II North Central Conference. The current Fighting Sioux men's head coach is Brian Jones and the current women's head coach is Gene Roebuck. The public address announcer for the men's basketball team is Brian Lee Rivers, while the announcer for the women's team is Bob Kerr.
On June 21, 2006, UND announced that it would be moving its entire athletic program to Division I including the basketball teams.
