North Carolina Highway 522

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

NC 522 is a six-mile North Carolina state highway. It runs entirely in Union County. NC 522 in reality is just a complementary road to SC 522, serving mainly as a way to get to NC 200 in south North Carolina.

[edit] Northern Terminus

Roughedge is essentially the city that NC 522 runs through. It starts at NC 200 at the "downtown" of Roughedge.

[edit] Southern Terminus

After six miles of mixed forest and farmland, NC 522 ends at the North Carolina-South Carolina border. 522 enters South Carolina as SC 522 where it runs in eastern Lancaster County.
