Normandy, Surrey

Normandy, is a village and parish in Surrey, England. It lies close to the western end of that county close to the border with Hampshire and just north of the chalk hill known as the Hog's Back. It had a population of 2,987 at the 2001 census. It is part of the larger Borough of Guildford. The parish also includes the villages of , Christmaspie, Willey Green, Pinewood and Flexford. It lies between the towns of Guildford and Aldershot.
It was the final home of the early nineteenth century radical reformer and agrarian William Cobbett , the author of Rural Rides.
Notable residents also inlcude the musician and fashion icon Ashley Reed.
