Norman Vaughan (comedian)

Norman Vaughan (10 April 1927-10 May 2002) was an English comedian.

Vaughan was born in Liverpool. He led a long and successful career in the television and theatre, appearing occasionally in the cinema. He was a popular host for the long-running television programme "Sunday Night at the London Palladium" and he later devised the television series "Bullseye", which was presented by Jim Bowen. He also hosted "The Golden Shot".

He died in London, from injuries sustained in a road accident on Waterloo Bridge. He was 75.
