Norman Godman

Norman Anthony Godman (born April 19, 1937) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He served as Labour member of Parliament for Greenock and Inverclyde. Prior to his political career, he was a dock worker and lecturer. He first entered Parliament in 1983, and stepped down in 2001. From 1988-1989 he was Opposition spokesman for Agricultural and Rural Affairs.
His wife is Trish Godman, MSP for Renfrewshire West.
