Norman Cattle

The Norman Cattle (in French: "Normande") is a cattle breed from the Normandy region in North France. It stems from the cattle that was once imported by the Vikings.
The breed is a dual purpose breed for milk and beef, with accentuation on the milk performance. The milk is particularly applicated for the cheese production.

The animals are chestnut-brown pied or black pied. The head is white but the eyes are darkly "spectacled" ("lunette").
Cows: 700 kg, 140 cm Bulls 1,100 kg, 152 cm
