Norm McDonald (born December 10, 1925, died November 28, 2002) is a former Australian rules footballer of Aboriginal heritage.
From the Gunditjmara tribe, McDonald was a half-back flanker recruited from the Geelong RAAF team, and began his career with the Essendon Football Club in 1947. He went on to play 128 games (booting 3 goals) for the club until his retirement in 1953. McDonald had extreme pace as a sprinter, and once finished second in the 1952 Stawell Gift behind another Essendon player, Lance Mann.
McDonald's career honours include being part of the Bombers' 1949 and 1950 premierships, as well as winning the Crichton Medal in 1951. He was named in the Indigenous Team of the Century and was also ranked 33rd on the Champions of Essendon list.
McDonald died at the Footscray Hospital on November 28, 2002.
