Nordkirchen

Nordkirchen is a town with 10286 inhabitants in the district of Coesfeld in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Nordkirchen's most famous site is the castle Nordkirchen, built in the 17th century for a local bishop and known as the Versailles of Westphalia. Nordkirchen is known as location of a transmission site for medium wave for transmitting the program of Deutschlandfunk, the transmitter Nordkirchen.
