Norbert Schemansky (born May 30, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan) was an Olympic weightlifter for the United States. Schemansky was the first weightlifter to earn four Olympic medals, despite missing the 1956 Olympic Games due to back problems. He was inducted into the Weightlifting Hall of Fame in 1997.
