Mrs. Nora Wakeman is a fictional character created for the Nickelodeon cartoon My Life as a Teenage Robot. She is Jenny Wakeman's creator and overprotective mother figure. The relationship is asymmetric: Nora repeatedly calls the robot "XJ-9", whereas Jenny always addresses her as "Mother" or "Mom". She has on occasion called Jenny her daughter. She is most disapproving of her daughter's attempts to 'fit in' with society, and would rather the family keep to themselves; she does, however, tolerate Brad and Tuck. She is literally "with Jenny every minute" as Jenny has a computer screen in her chest that allows communication with Dr. Wakeman. Sick of this, Jenny has since found a way to mess up communications between her and her mother. Nora seems to be something of a mad scientist, but at the same time is apparently highly respected in the scientific community. She has a unique way of speaking; she pronounces words extremely precisely to the effect that even single syllable words often have two when spoken by her: As an example, she pronounces XJ-9 'XJ-Ny-yin"

Inspite of being disapproving of her daughters hobbies and attempts to fit in with teenage society, Nora still cares greatly for her robotic daughter and has gone out of her way on numerous occasions to help her out of trouble. At one point when Jenny told her mother to go away permanently, Nora wept with sadness at her words. Though the mother and daughter often have fights, they usually make up quickly. Nora has also expressed deep feelings of attachment and caring for her daughter, though she is usually more reserved.

Nora is voiced by Candi Milo.
