Nokia Communicator

The Nokia Communicator is a brand name for a series of Nokia smartphones, all of which appear as normal (if large) phones on the outside yet have a keyboard and a large LCD screen inside.

Members of the series are:

• Nokia 9000 (running GEOS)
• Nokia 9110 (also running GEOS)
• Nokia 9210 (running Symbian OS version 6.0)
• Nokia 9500 (running Symbian OS version 7.0s - actually released before the 9300, but larger and with more features)
• Nokia NC9400 (running Symbian OS version 11.0s - new prototype smartphone, with more features)

The Nokia 9300 (running Symbian OS version 7.0s) is very similar to the Nokia 9500 but is not officially considered a Communicator.
