Nochex

Nochex is an Internet business similar to PayPal that allows the transfer of money between people over the Internet. The service is restricted to users within the UK. Nochex is free to move money between your bank account and nochex account and vice versa (25p for withdrawing less than £50). Like PayPal, Nochex's primary uses for payments on websites or online auctions.
The charges are less than that of PayPals (unless one uses PayPal enough to qualify for its lowest rate), at 2.9% to receive payments (plus 20p) and free to send.
Unlike PayPal, Nochex sellers are protected from chargebacks, plus money received is instantly available to withdraw to your bank account.
On 7 July 2006 eBay announced that Nochex would no longer be allowed for payments on their site. eBay have a potential conflict of interest in such cases as it is obviously in eBay's interest to encourage the use of their own PayPal payment system. On 13 July 2006 eBay allowed Nochex again.
