Nobody Wants to Be Alone did quite well for country singer Crystal Gayle on the Billboard Country albums chart at #17. Two of its singles also made the charts; the title song, "Nobody Wants to Be Alone," was at #3 in early 1985, and "A Long and Lasting Love" was at #5 later that year.
