{{unblock|I'm a high school student and sometimes want to contribute at school, but I've been IP blocked because my classmates vandalize wikipedia.

The message I get is this:

Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by FreplySpang for the following reason (see our blocking policy): recurrent vandalism from a school system Your IP address is 209.66.200.61.

}}

To quote the template you posted on this page "Blocked editor: If the block message says that your IP address is blocked or that your IP address was recently used by a blocked user, please paste the block message or post your IP address below as we have no way of unblocking you if your username itself was not blocked.".

That said if the vandalism from the school is particularly bad then it may not be possible to unblock. It may seem unfair to you that you get blocked because of 1 or 2 idiots, but is unfair that the 1000's of other wikipedians have to see/revert the vandalism also. The best way to prevent the problem is to stop the vandalism occuring, have you spoken to your schools system admin to see if they can tie up their own logs with the occurances of vandalism so the person(s) responsible can be identified and dealt with? No further vandalism = No further blocks --pgk(talk) 16:53, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the advice. I understand if the block can't be removed. Noah Tye 20:09, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Well I've taken a look and that IP has been blocked repeatedly over a period of time, as soon as a block expires a further stream of vandalism occurs, so I am not willing to lift it at this time. Sorry. --pgk(talk) 09:37, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
