An example of how the Internet allows near-universal connectivity. Image is a work of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, a branch of the government of the United States, and is therefore public domain. Located at http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/tao/kaimi/i_at_sea.html which discusses applications of the Internet and World Wide Web for ships at sea.
