No. 148 Squadron of the Royal Air Force operated the Vickers Valiant from RAF Marham, from the 1st of July 1956 until the 28 of April 1965.
No. 148 (SD) Squadron RAF was a special duties squadron in World War II. It dropped men and materiel behind enemy lines in Yugoslavia, Poland, etc.
