Noémi Lopinto

Noémi Lopinto is a Canadian writer who ran as a New Democratic Party candidate in the 2000 federal election. In 2004, she ran for the Green Party of Canada in the 2004 federal election in the district of Bourassa (electorial district) She wrote a weekly campaign diary for the Montreal Mirror, and worked as a freelance reporter before moving to Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan to become the managing editor of the local paper, the Meadow Lake Progress. In the fall of 2005, she left Saskatchewan to work for the Edmonton Journal. She also writes for a book reviews web site www.sitedish.com/imho.
