[edit] SHA and modulo

Hi,

please could you revert your change to the SHA hash functions article? The ≡ denotes congruence modulo (how could one take a message of any length less that 2⁶⁴ bits and, adding zeroes, reach something which has only 448 of them?). —Gennaro Prota^•Talk 19:19, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

I just reread it and I was mistaken. However, there also seems to still be a mistake with my parentheses. However the actual reason I changed it was that that symbol was not part of my font, so instead I will link the symbol to its article. However, I still believe that the paren was in the wrong location and will leave it that way. If I am mistaken with that as well, then please fix it. njaard 06:56, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
