Nixalite

Nixalite is a bird control product manufactured and sold by Nixalite of America Inc in East Moline, IL. It is comprised of stainless steel wire with little pins poking out of it, a sort of like a porcupine or barbed wire[[1]]. It is said to be of low human visibility for landscaping, useful for keeping birds from landing on almost any surface, as well it is incidentally useful for repelling climbing animals and even human intruders when placed on fences or around poles. Other terms for describing nixalite include bird barrier, bird spikes, porcupine wire, pigeon spikes and bird wire.
