Nit Phibunsongkhram

Nit Phibunsongkhram (Thai: นิตย์ พิบูลสงคราม) is a Thai career diplomat and politician.

After receiving his B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College and his M.A. in Political Science from Brown University, he joined Thailand's Foreign Service in 1968. Between 1996 and 2000 he was ambassador to the United States. In 2006 he was appointed by the military junta to be Foreign Minister of Thailand.

He is the son of Field Marschal Plaek Pibulsonggram.
