Nikolay Vladimirovich Mezentsev (Николай Владимирович Мезенцев) (1827-1878) was Russian Adjutant General of the Svita, Chief of Staff of the Special Corps of Gendarmes (1864-1876), Chief of Gendarmes and Executive Director of the Third Section of H.I.M. Chancellery (1876-1878). He was killed by a revolutionary, Ivan Kravchinsky.
