Nikolay Saltykov

Count Nikolay Ivanovich Saltykov (31 October, 1736 - ) was a Russian Field Marshal and imperial courtier. He was the head of the Russian Army as the president of the the War Collegium 1791 – 1802. He is credited as the tutor of the eventual Tsar Paul I of Russia and his two sons, Konstantin Pavlovich Romanov, and Tsar Alexander I of Russia
