Nikolay Mikhailov
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nikolay Mikhailov (Bulgarian: Николай Михайлов) (born June 28, 1988 in Sofia) is a Bulgarian footballer. He is currently a substitute goalkeeper for Levski Sofia and the Bulgaria national team.
Mikhailov's father is Borislav Mikhailov, the player with the most international appearances for Bulgaria. Mikhailov's poor performance in the last one year, particularly his blunder in the October 31, 2006, Champions League game against Werder Bremen, has provoked a negative campaign among Levski supporters who all too easily associate his career with protection from his father. He is well known in Bulgaria as TRIki Mihazlov.
