Ojo Town, Lagos State, Nigeria
This is an ancient town, peopled by the Awori-speaking people of Southwestern Nigeria. It is one of the most developed Awori Towns. The Town host the main campus of the Lagos State University, Volkswagen Assembly Plant, The Alaba International Market and a host of others. The Town has a First Class Oba (King) in the person of HRM Oba Muftau Olajide JIMOH, Olabulo II, The Olojo of Ojo Land. The Town has notable personalities such as Prof. Olakunle Abdul-Rasheed Lawal, a reknowned Professor of History, and the present Commissioner for Education in Lagos State. Others include Prince Abayomi Abdul-Azeez Jimoh, a University lecturer and Commonwealth Scholar, and Alhaji Abdul Azeez Olounwa Yahya.
