Night of Appreciation

A Night of Appreciation was Ring of Honor’s (ROH) third show. It took place on April 27, 2002 in Philadelphia, PA at the Murphy Recreational Center. It was the second and final time Eddie Guerrero appeared in ROH, and the show was dedicated to him. ROH dedicated another show to him after he died called "A Night of Tribute". This event also marked the debut of AJ Styles.
- Da Hit Squad defeated Prince Nana & Simply Luscious and the Christopher Street Connection.
- Jay Briscoe w/Mark Briscoe defeated Tony Mamaluke
- This was Mamaluke’s debut match.
- Divine Storm (Chris Divine and Quite Storm) defeated Christian York and Joey Matthews.
- James Maritato defeated “The Black Nature Boy” Scoot Andrews and Xavier in a “Triple Threat match”.
- Low Ki defeated AJ Styles.
- The Carnage Crew (HC Loc and Tony DeVito) defeated The Ring Crew Express.
- This was DeVito’s debut with ROH and Loc’s debut as a wrestler for ROH.
- This was RCE's debut for ROH.
- Donovan Morgan defeated Christopher Daniels.
- Following the match Daniels said he respected Morgan but would not obey the “Code of Honor” and shake his hand because he felt the Code was wrong.
- This was Morgan’s debut match.
- Texas Wrestling Academy gauntlet match
- Paul London defeated John Hope.
- Michael Shane defeated Paul London.
- Spanky defeated Michael Shane.
- Spanky defeated American Dragon to win.
- Eddy Guerrero and Amazing Red defeated The SAT
- After the match the locker room came out to pay respect to Guerrero. Brian XL then entered the ring to complain about Red dumping him for Guerrero. After Guerrero tossed Brian out of the ring, he gave an emotional speech thanking the fans and ROH.
