Night Shift Nurses (夜勤病棟 / Yakin Byoutou) , a Japanese hentai series, was created in 2000 and released as ten censored OVAs (Original Video Animation), with two recap episodes (Episode 5.5 and Episode 10.5). The first five were released, uncensored in North America in 2002 along with recap Episode 5.5. It is somewhat infamous for its very extreme depictions of sexual fetishes, including scat, bondage, torture, etc.

Ryuji Hirasaka/Dr. Ryuji Osaka: gynecologist, A perverted sadist. His passion is to rape the young nurses of the hospital in the most degrading ways and make them submissive for a new kind of service for patients. He was badly injured by Narumi and was eventually killed by Ren.
Narumi Jinguji: Hirasaka's employer. Previously raped by Hirasaka.(Chapter/Karte 10)
Ren Nanase: A nurse at the hospital, Hirasaka's first victim.
Naoya Ohkawa: Ren Nanase's boyfriend, a promized sports man confined to a wheelchair. He is forced to see his girlfriend raped by Hirasaka.
Remi Shinjyo: A chief nurse at the hospital,while being very proud of being a chief nurse she makes hirasaka angry, when hirasaka does research on her he founds out that she killed a patient by accident and blackmails her into having sex with him, later on she keeps being raped by Hirasaka, but she founds out she likes it.
Ako Fujisawa: A nurse at the hospital, raped by Hirasaka.
Hikaru Kodama: A nurse at the hospital, which has an adoptive sister who doesn't know that she is adopted, therefore giving Hirasaka the chance to blackmail Hikaru Kodama into having sex with him, later on she keeps being raped by Hirasaka, but starts to like it.
