Night Caste (Exalted)

The Solar Exalted known as the Night Caste are the group associated with spying, subverting and maneuvering through the "less than appropriate" dealings expected of rulership.

Actions that Night Caste understand greatest are those involving Olympic feats of movement, extreme cautiousness and consciousness of their surroundings, specific nonviolent placements involving combat, avoidance of other's notice, infiltration, disguise, security countermeasures, and actions involving mixtures of these intrinsic skills.

The symbol of the Night Caste, or "Concealing Shadows" as their proponents have dubbed them, is a golden ring. This can be seen on the agent's forehead when their anima banner begins to become visible.

Animas tend to be ghostly whites and golds, with purplish to purple-gray tinges.

Their Night Caste anima hides them well. When being used to cloak the Night Caste, for a double mote cost, the anima flare's shadow overpowers it's light, thus cancelling out any visibly perceptive, and possibly strategically risky, wildness that might otherwise be seen by outside parties. Even when the anima banner has reached a dramatic flaring of solar incandescent proportions, such an anima works to blind out any specifically identifying features, thus leaving the agent as an unviewable blaze of power, rather than a compromised identity.
