Nigel Vonas

Nigel Vonas is a Canadian actor. He was born in Toronto, Canada, but now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
An Vancouver, British Columbia native, Vonas began his career in theatre. His talent and drive to break out landed him his feature film debut as Merc in the film The Chronicles Of Riddick. He has also made numerous TV appearances on Jake 2.0 and Stargate SG-1.
Vonas is slated to take his first leading role in the short film, Wake Up, written and directed by The Dark Saints, set for filming in August of 2006. He is also slated to take his first feature film leading role, as Antonio Demonio, in another Dark Saint film, Able Becoming. Vonas was offered the role immediately after director Paul Graves saw his headshot.

- Paul Graves refers to Vonas as one of the "Blessed," a term he gives to actors that his Dark Saint entertainment company helps break into the mainstream. Graves offered the role of Antonio Demonio to Vonas immediately after seeing his headshot. The role of Demonio was originally scripted for Graves to portray.
