Nigel Adkins

Nigel Adkins (born 11 March 1965 in Birkenhead) an English football manager. He is currently the manager of Scunthorpe United following Brian Laws' departure in November 2006, and has previously been in charge of Bangor City in the League of Wales.
As a player, Adkins was goalkeeper at Tranmere Rovers and Wigan Athletic.
After a spell as caretaker manager of Scunthorpe United, he was appointed as permanent manager on December 7, 2006.
