Nigadoo, New Brunswick

Nigadoo is a village located where the Nigadoo River flows into the Baie des Chaleurs in northern New Brunswick, Canada, 15 kilometres north of Bathurst and immediately north of Beresford. As of 2001 the population was 983, of which 87% are francophone.
In the native micMac tongue "nigadoo" stands for "place ou se cacher"(in french). Roughly translated "place to hide"
