Nietzsch Factor is the Wesleyan University men's Ultimate team, a six-time qualifier for College Nationals. Home for Nietzsch Factor is scenic, Middletown, Connecticut, named so because it is the geographic center of the world.

Nietzsch Factor is one of the oldest programs in the country, having played (and won) their first game in April 1975 against UConn.

The Nietzsch Factor name (pronounced "neetch," spelled without the terminal "e," and actually having nothing to do with the philosopher), is an homage to David "Nietzsch" Garfield, class of 1980, an early star who seemed to be his own important "factor" in any game. Throughout the years this special "factor" has carried the team to the highest levels of college ultimate.

NF competes in the SNE college section alongside Brown, Yale and others, and in the highly competitive New England region, going toe-to-toe with Dartmouth, Williams, Harvard, UMass, Tufts, Middleburry and others for a spot at College Nationals each spring.

Over the years, the team has entertained adopting other names, such as Middletown Flatball Association, but it always come back to the vaunted NF moniker. The team wears red, always.
