Nidji

Nidji is a group band from Jakarta, Indonesia. Formed in 2002, Nidji got its name from the Japanese word niji, meaning rainbow. Influenced by britpop music, Nidji still has their own music style. The band consists of Giring (vocalist), Andro (bassist), Run-D (keyboardist), Rama (guitarist), Ariel (guitarist), and Adri (drummer). Their singles Child, Sudah and Hapus Aku were in many radio charts in Indonesia[citation needed]. Nidji was also number one over two times on MTV Ampuh in MTV Indonesia. In 2006, Nidji won two MTV Indonesia trophies : the best new artist, and best group/duo[citation needed].
