Talk:Nick Tatham
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Can I ask why you feel that Nick Tatham's page should be deleted? He has been awarded an honour live on British TV (Meridian Tonight), has released two EPs (one of which was reviewed on CDTimes.co.uk), appeared in a feature film which is featured on IMDb, shot a music video, he has a website which mentions the number of gigs he undertakes (plus song clips), and he is mentioned on the Tourette syndrome page as a person who is notable for his achievements whilst suffering from the condition. In fact, his first EP was actually promoted by the Tourette Syndrome Association (TSA) in the UK. Richardbooth 15:45, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Then why is information to support these points conspicuously missing from the article? As it currently stands, the only link in the article itself happens to be for your company. Is that just a coincidence??? --Folajimi 16:00, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- FWIW, these are not arbitrary rules I concocted; this article is being measured against Wikipedia:Notability (music). Also, you repeatedly removed the {{weasel}} tag without addressing the concern. Care to explain? --Folajimi 16:04, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes. It was added by a known vandal whose IP address is frequently being blocked by the administrators here on Wikipedia. I will strive to add sources to this article in the next couple of days. One can't help but think you're building up a vendetta against me, though. Richardbooth 17:18, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Whether or not that IP is an I.P. is immaterial; the presence of weasel words in the article is still an issue. As for your vendetta paranoia, that is your problem to deal with. While your conduct on Wikipedia leaves something to be desired, I have no axe to grind with you. Besides, when it comes to "unmentionable undesirables", I can think of at least a half-dozen wikipedes whom you don't even hold a candle to... --Folajimi 17:34, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
