Nicolae (Nicu) Covaci (born April 19, 1947 in Timişoara, Romania) - painter, music composer of Romanian origin, best known as the leader of Romanian Rock and cult band Phoenix, for which he is vocalist and guitar player, with more that 40 years of activity.
