Nicolini

Nicolini (real name Nicolo Grimaldi) (~1673 - 1732) was an Italian singer, one of the best known of the castrati.
He was born in Naples, but made his name on the English stage, playing the leading roles in the premières of Handel's operas, Rinaldo and Amadigi di Gaula. He was highly regarded as an actor.
