Nicole Roy-Arcelin

Nicole Roy-Arcelin (born 12 October 1941 in Chicoutimi, Quebec) was a member of the Canadian House of Commons from 1988 to 1993. Her career is in nursing and her background includes special events arrangement and performances as a singer.

She was elected in the 1988 federal election at the Ahuntsic electoral district for the Progressive Conservative party. She served in the 34th Canadian Parliament after which she was defeated by Bloc Québécois candidate Michel Daviault in the 1993 federal election.

In 1996, she lost in her bid to return to Parliament in a 1996 by-election in the Papineau—Saint-Michel electoral district. She also lost another attempt in the 1997 federal election back in the Ahuntsic riding. She most recently ran in the 2004 federal election in the LaSalle—Émard riding, again unsuccessfully.

She was a Montreal city councillor from 1998 to 2001 under the Équipe Bourque / Vision Montréal party banner.
