Nicolas Hülkenberg (born August 19, 1987 in Emmerich, Germany) is a professional racecar driver. Hülkenberg made his karting debut in 1997, at the age of 10, and competed in various events globally until his 2005 formula debut in German Formula BMW Germany. His formula debut was a very successful one, with Hülkenberg dominating the championship and winning the title comfortably.
He is one of the race drivers for A1 Team Germany in the A1 Grand Prix series, winning two Feature races so far in his rookie season.
Hülkenberg is currently managed by Willi Weber, the long-time manager of Michael Schumacher. Weber has gone on record saying that Hülkenberg should have a Formula 1 seat by 2008. He has also praised Hülkenberg as an "unbelievable talent" and says he reminds him of Schumacher as a young driver.[1]
