Nicolae Guţă (pronounced "goot-sa") is one of the most famous Romanian manele singers. He was born in Hunedoara, Romania. He had a relationship with Sorina Guţă, another famous manele singer. He adopted 'Guţă' as a stage name, his original name being Linguraru. Unlike most manele singers, he choses not to show off his riches. One of his famous songs is "Aş renunţa". His music has many Turkish and Balkan influences, and also touches of modern music and Roma music.
