Nicky Nutjob

Winner of The Beano's Comic Idol 2006 reader poll. Became a regular character in May 2006, his mum finally appeared for a first time a few weeks later. Nicky's dad is an inventor, but the gadgets always go wrong. Sometimes, however, they have a use Mr Nutjob hadn't intended. For example, a slippery plastic board was intended to be an icerink that won't melt. It was put on top of some clothes, thus acting like a clothes press. Drawn by Chris's friend Eddie Savino.
