Nick Zinner

Nick Zinner (born Nicholas Joseph Zinner on 1974-12-08) is the guitarist for the New York rock band Yeah Yeah Yeahs. He is well-known for his wild hair, skinny physique, and pale appearance.

Zinner is also a member of the thrash metal band Head Wound City along with members from The Locust and The Blood Brothers. He has contributed to several tracks on Bright Eyes' 2005 album Digital Ash in a Digital Urn, playing guitar and the keyboard. Zinner also played guitar on the tour supporting this album. He has recently worked with bands such as The Horrors and TV on the Radio. Additionally, Zinner is an accomplished photographer; he studied photography at Bard College and released a collection of his photography titled, "I Hope You Are All Happy Now" in 2004.
Zinner produced the re-mix of the track 'Compliments' on British group Bloc Party's 2005 album 'Silent Alarm Remixed,' and has remixed Single Frame's song, "People are Germs," in addition to appearing in the music video. He has also played guitar on some tracks for TV on the Radio.
