Nick Ward (1962-), British-Australian playrwright and director. Began writing and directing theatre at Cambridge University; film school at Bristol University; won George Devine Award for plays directed at National Theatre in 1988; wrote and directed television films and radio beween 1991 and 1994. Currently a boatman and rowing coach on the Thames Tideway.
