[edit] Nick Thompson as a DJ
Nick Thompson began DJing in 1997. When he first started out, his style was mainly trance. Then, in 2002, Nick started spinning UK Hard House for friends at parties. In 2003 however, Nick grew tired of the UK Hard House sound and switched back to trance. In 2004 and 2005, Nick started spinning various different types of electronic music. He now spins anything from progressive trance to progressive house to pure trance.
Nick currently has two weekly radio shows. One on Party107 called "Ignition" and one on ETN called "The Sunday Prognosis". He also has played at several events in Europe.
[edit] Nick Thompson as a Producer
In 2000, Nick found his love for producing. After playing with Cubase for many hours, Nick knew that producing music was something that he wanted to pursue. After working in Cubase for a short time, Nick moved on to using Reason. While working with Reason, Nick learned a lot about synthesizers and song structure.
In 2003, Nick started using Fruity Loops to produce. He has experimented with several other applications such as Ableton Live, Logic, and Cubase, however he still uses Fruity Loops (FLStudio) to produce.
Some of Nick's music has been spun by big DJ's such as Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Perry O'Neil, Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto, and more.
Nick is currently signed to Netherlands based Armada Music, Lost Language, Alter Ego, Real Music, and Active Records.
