Nick Reid was an American football linebacker for the Kansas Jayhawks. He signed a free agent contract with the Kansas City Chiefs on May 2, 2006. He was cut from a spot on the Chiefs' roster on August 28, 2006, before the beginning of the NFL season.

Reid is from Derby, Kansas and attended Derby High School. He attended the University of Kansas and played football for the Jayhawks. He was the 2005 Defensive Player of the Year in the Big 12 Conference, and was a member of the First Team All Big 12, as well as a third-team All-American as a senior. As a junior, he also earned First Team All Big 12 honors.
