Nick Hegarty is an attack minded left-sided midfield player who was signed from Nottingham Forest. He has a lot of potential having impressed at youth and reserve team level. He made his debut as a late substitute against Kidderminster Harriers in the final away game of the 2004-05 season. He was a regular for the reserves in that season and scored a hat-trick in the home match against Lincoln City. Despite a good pre-season he has spend most of the 2005-06 season in the reserves and out on loan to non-league clubs.
