Nichola Kane

Nichola Kane is a reporter on stv central's news programme, Scotland Today.
One of the subjects Nichola covers for Scotland Today is tourism and in recent years she’s been reporting on some very difficult times for the industry. The foot and mouth crisis, the after effects of September 11 and the war in Iraq have all taken their toll with foreign visitor numbers falling each year. However covering the industry also means that she’s often the envy her colleagues filming in some of Scotland’s best hotels and restaurants.
Nichola has also been lucky enough to go abroad filming for Scotland Today.
