NICE Systems
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
NICE Systems is a call monitoring-systems company with offices in Ra'annana, Israel and Rutherford, New Jersey that has generated US$800 million in business. It specializes in emotion-sensitive software.
The NICE software records calls, monitors quality, and detects anger. Levels of emotion can be set to trigger detectors. Calls can be automatically flagged for more careful study by company managers. The level of anger is measured by changes in scale and rate of voice pitch, and by the number of interruptions. The program also looks at eight other elements of speech, but NICE Systems does not name them publicly.
