Niall McCarthy (born 1982) is an Irish sportsman. He plays in the half-forward line on the Cork senior hurling team.
Niall McCarthy was born in Carrigtwohill, County Cork in 1982. A bank official by profession, McCarthy plays hurling locally with Carrigtwohill and at inter-county level with Cork. O'Sullivan first came to prominence in the late 1990s when he played on the Cork Minor hurling team that won Munster and All-Ireland titles in 1998. McCarthy quickly made the step up, becoming a member of the senior hurling panel and has since gone on to win 3 Munster Championship medals and 2 All-Ireland winners medals.
