[edit] Suggested merger on Twisted pair

I'm going to cleanup the merger tags you placed so don't concern yourself with those, watch the talk page for more information. --Bruce 09:23, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome templates, template substitutions

I noticed you've been welcoming users, which is good - please keep it up. However, please use template substitutions when leaving welcome messages, vandalism warnings, etc (see WP:SUBST for more information). To use them, simply put subst in front of the template. For example, instead of {{subst:welcome}} use {{subst:welcome}}. Ash Lux 17:05, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Subst

Hi, when you post a welcome message to a newcomer, could you use {{subst:welcome}}, {{subst:welcome2}}, etc., instead of just {{welcome}}, {{welcome2}}, etc. It means that the text of that particular template will be added to the talk page of the user instead of the user just seeing a sort of mirror image of it. Two advantages are that if the actual template is vandalized, the message you have sent will not be altered in any way, and also less load is placed on the server. For more information, please see WP:SUBST. Cheers. Mkdwtalk 09:21, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
