NGC 1128 is a "dumbbell galaxy" in the Abell 400 galaxy cluster. It is the center of the 3C75 radio source and contains two orbiting supermassive black holes on their way to merging. Lewis Swift receives credit for discovering NGC 1128 in 1886, however, a possible 5 tmin error in Swift's records casts some doubt on his discovery. If it weren't for those 5 min. the info would be different.
