[edit] Thread
there is a thread on nforce for discussions also, where everybody can call everybody names and stuff and ask 'wear4 R teh 2rentz' =) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lutzifer (talk • contribs) 16:19, 10 November 2005.
[edit] Bans
btw. it shouldnt be too hard for mods to ban nforce users by ip, as the history keeps track of the ips, so try to keep your childish attitudes at bay or move on to isonews =) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 134.93.137.17 (talk • contribs) 13:06, 11 November 2005.
[edit] Whoa, this article blows
WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING COLUMN! WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING COLUMN! WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING COLUMN! WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING COLUMN! WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING COLUMN! WIKIPEDIA IS NOT A FUCKING COLUMN!
The "reasons" part is just out-of-the-ass. Please, do your fucking articles better, remeber that you represent nforce, too.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.249.252.211 (talk • contribs) 22:31, 27 January 2006.

[edit] Pov
"Most people using the site likely use it to assist or to aid them in illegal activities, since the site provides information on what is released to the scene." Those types of sentences have no place in an encyclopedia. Unless you can provide a study that proves that. --Crossmr 21:50, 14 May 2006 (UTC)
agreed, removing. 69.116.150.174 22:48, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
- There are more PoV issues than that that need cleaning up. Your other edit is pointless, I'm reverting. --Crossmr 02:47, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- um, that wasn't a POV edit. "teh 2rentz" is nonsensical and doesn't contribute to the article. 69.116.150.174 19:15, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- My mistake, I read that wrong on the history. --Crossmr 19:18, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

I took out the part about "heavily biased" press. Definitely a POV issue. --133.1.207.65 04:25, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
The existence of numerous threads about how to bypass copy protection, or the fact that most users admit downloading games illegaly are obvious signs that lot of (if not most) users seek ressource on how to play the game without buying it. At least, it isn't any less legitimate than the other reasons for existences.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 195.25.232.221 (talk • contribs) 13:52, October 11, 2006.
- See WP:V, WP:RS and WP:OR, as well perhaps read up on elementary statistics. Drawing a conclusion based on your conclusion drawn from how you perceive the forums has no place here. Statistics would tell us there are likely several times the amount of users who come and read the content on the site (i.e. release lists) without ever visiting the forums. They are users to and certainly not represented in your opinion on why the site exists. So in the context of whats acceptable for inclusion on wikipedia, its not remotely legitimate. --Crossmr 04:52, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

- I agree with that. I do not have any reliable source for that opinion. Wich is why I didn't edited the page. However, where are the sources for "Companies can check easily if their products are released to the scene ..." or "NFOrce.nl is also a very good resource for end-users ..." In fact, none of the reasons for existence aren't anything else than POSSIBLE reasons for existence, based on what exists on the site. The informations to help bypass protection DO exist on the site. In the context of whats acceptable for inclusion on wikipedia, none of the "reasons for existence" are remotely legitimate. Either accept that getting information on how to warez games is a reason for going on the site as much as the others, or delete every other reasons, because they aren't any more verifiable.
[edit] Hmm
After reading the article I fail to see why it's neutrality is disputed? --194.240.44.12 09:31, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
- The main sentence that made it non-neutral seems to have been removed. I've removed that tag for now, but it still needs clean up. --Crossmr 15:56, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Altium logo ?
Why is the logo of Altium on this page? Altium is a bona fide software company from Australia. It has nothing to do with warez.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.210.119.60 (talk • contribs) 09:15, 25 June 2006.
- This was caused by a genericly named image. Someone uploaded another logo that had the same name as the nforce one and overwrote it. Checking the image file history this has happened several times. I re-uploaded the image with a new unique name and it should no longer be a problem--Crossmr 15:22, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Citations
I'm going to start removing a lot of the unsourced information from this article per WP:V and WP:RS. I'll give it another 48 hours and then start at it. If anyone has anything in here they want to add a citation to, feel free. After its removed please don't re-add it without providing a valid citation.--Crossmr 00:26, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
